Cookie Notice

Last updated: October 2026

Aplara uses only cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to run the service securely. There is no analytics, advertising or profiling technology, so there is nothing optional to consent to and we do not show a cookie banner that would not control anything.

Strictly necessary

  • Sign-in session (sb-…-auth-token) — browser local storage set by our sign-in service. Keeps you signed in and is refreshed while you use Aplara. Removed when you sign out. During some sign-in steps (Google sign-in, confirming your email or resetting your password) it also keeps a one-time check value (sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier), removed once the step is complete.
  • Sign-in return note (employa:redirect) — a session-storage entry set when you sign in with Google, remembering the page you were heading to. Removed after sign-in, or when the tab closes.
  • Page position (tsr-scroll-restoration-…) — a session-storage entry set by the site's page navigation, so that going back returns you to the same place on the page. Removed when the tab closes.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile security check — when you join the waitlist or create an account, a check from Cloudflare tells people from automated programs. It runs in a frame on Cloudflare's own website, so it sets no cookies on aplara.com; Cloudflare's privacy notice covers it.
  • Payment pages — when you subscribe or manage billing, you go to Stripe's own checkout and billing pages, where Stripe sets its own cookies. Stripe's cookie notice covers them. Aplara's pages don't load Stripe.

Administrators only

  • Currency choice (aplara.admin.currency) — browser local storage used only on internal administrator pages to remember a display currency. Never set for customers.

What we do not use

  • No analytics or measurement tools.
  • No advertising or remarketing tags.
  • No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting.

Controlling storage

You can clear this storage in your browser settings at any time; doing so signs you out. Blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent sign-in from working.
