Does Aplara make things up?
It's designed to write only from the examples you give it, and it shows you where each point came from. If something's missing, it asks you. AI can still make mistakes, so check every answer before you send it.
Is it just ChatGPT?
Aplara uses OpenAI's models through its API. What you send through Aplara isn't used to train OpenAI's models. The difference is what Aplara does around them: your saved examples, the follow-up question, the evidence for each point and the interview practice. Aplara isn't connected with or endorsed by OpenAI.
Who is it for?
Anyone in the UK aged 18 or over who's applying for jobs with written application forms. It's designed for placements, internships and graduate schemes first.
Do I need a CV to start?
No. A few sentences about one real experience is enough to start. You can add a CV whenever you like.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, and no card is needed. The free plan includes 5 application answers, 1 CV check and 1 cover letter a month, with up to 3 active applications. Pro raises the monthly limits for busy application weeks.
Will it get me a job?
No tool can promise that. Aplara helps you write clearer answers from your own experience and prepare to talk about them.
What happens to my CV and examples?
They're stored in your account in the UK, with encrypted backups of CV files in the EU, and you can delete them at any time. Before you add a CV or type in your own details, we ask for your permission to handle any sensitive information they contain. See the privacy notice.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, in Plan & Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. If you ask for a refund, your plan ends when we refund it.
